Special Weather Statement issued December 27 at 4:41AM EST by NWS Melbourne FL
Satellite imagery and surface observations show patchy dense fog
beginning to spread southward across portions of east central
Florida. Fog will produce localized visibility reductions below
one mile across portions of Volusia, Lake, Orange, Seminole, and
northern Brevard counties through early this morning. Motorists
should be prepared for sudden changes in visibility.
If encountering dense fog on area roadways, use your low beam
headlights, reduce your speed, and maintain a safe distance
between your vehicle and the one ahead of you.
