Winter Storm Warning issued December 26 at 12:58AM EST until December 27 at 1:00PM EST by NWS Albany NY

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and
10 inches.

* WHERE...Ulster, Greene and Dutchess Counties in eastern New York
and Litchfield County in northwest Connecticut.

* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 1 PM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be difficult. The
hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Moderate to heavy snow will develop around or
just after sunset, and will remain heavy at times tonight.
Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour will be possible
overnight. The snow gradually tapers off Saturday morning to
scattered snow showers and flurries.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
