Winter Weather Advisory issued December 25 at 9:51PM EST until December 27 at 7:00AM EST by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations up to two
tenths of an inch.
* WHERE...Most of central Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...From noon Friday to 7 AM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions will impact the Friday evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Much of the precipitation could fall as
sleet. Sleet and freezing rain can both be dangerous, especially
on bridges and sidewalks. They can also weigh down tree limbs and
power lines. Power outages are possible.
Travel will be hazardous. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
