Penn Waste has issued the following statement regarding this Holiday week pick-up schedule.
Penn Waste will have early start times for the remainder of this week’s collection schedule—Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. We propose starting one hour earlier on each of these days for the following reasons:
• Wednesday (Christmas Eve): To complete collections promptly, minimize traffic impact, and allow our crews to spend time with their families.
• Friday (Incoming Storm): To get ahead of the forecasted afternoon storm, ensuring timely collection and crew safety.
• Saturday (Disposal Site Hours): To accommodate earlier closure times at disposal sites and maintain efficient operations.
This notification was posted by Conewago Township. Conewago Township is solely responsible for this notification and unless specifically indicated, no other community or individual utilizing Savvy Citizen is sponsoring, responsible for, or endorsing this notification.
