Wind Advisory issued December 18 at 9:45PM EST until December 20 at 1:00AM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph
expected tonight through Friday morning. Winds turn to the
northwest behind a strong cold front Friday afternoon. There may
be a lull in the strongest wind gusts late Friday morning before
the cold front passes through the region. Wind gusts in the wake
of the front up to 50 MPH are possible.
* WHERE...In Delaware, Kent County. In Maryland, Caroline, Kent MD,
Queen Annes, and Talbot Counties.
* WHEN...From 1 AM Friday to 1 AM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
Secure outdoor objects, including any holiday decorations.
