Wind Advisory issued December 18 at 12:35PM EST until December 20 at 1:00AM EST by NWS Buffalo NY
* WHAT...South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected
this afternoon through tonight. West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts
up to 50 mph expected Friday through Friday evening.
* WHERE...Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Wayne, Northern Cayuga,
Oswego, Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston, Ontario, Cattaraugus, and
Allegany Counties.
* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects,
including outdoor holiday decorations. Tree limbs could be blown
down and a few power outages may result.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
