Snow Removal Update ❄️
Thank you to our residents for your patience as our Public Works crew works around the clock to keep our roads safe. We know this weekend's storm was challenging—several of Crafton's Snow Removal vehicles were damaged on Saturday during the early hours of the storm, and our team has been working tirelessly to keep up with conditions.
A reminder about winter road treatment: The Borough uses salt on roadways, which is effective in most conditions but loses effectiveness when temperatures drop below 15°F. During extreme cold, please drive with extra caution.
Property Owner Responsibilities:
✅Clear your sidewalks and driveways within 24 hours of a snow event
❌Do NOT push or dump snow onto roadways or your neighbors' sidewalks
✅Please check on elderly or away neighbors and lend a hand if they need help clearing their walkways
