Winter Weather Advisory issued December 10 at 9:48AM EST until December 10 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Binghamton NY
* WHAT...Light snow and some mixed precipitation expected.
Additional snow accumulations up to two inches and ice
accumulations around a light glaze.
* WHERE...In New York, Broome County. In Pennsylvania, Bradford,
Lackawanna, Luzerne, Northern Wayne, Pike, Southern Wayne,
Susquehanna, and Wyoming Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Wednesday evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Periods of snow continue into the afternoon
hours. Brief periods of rain or freezing rain could mix in a times
early this afternoon, before changing back to all snow showers
late this evening. The lower elevations and valleys are only
expected to see around 1 inch or less of snow from this event,
while the higher elevations see totals of 2 to 4 inches by early
this evening.
