Winter Weather Advisory issued December 9 until December 12 at 4:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Snow expected. Snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches through
Wednesday evening. An additional 3 to 6 inches of snow late
Wednesday night through Thursday night within the most persistent
lake effect snow bands.
* WHERE...Crawford and Southern Erie Counties.
* WHEN...From 1 AM Wednesday to 4 AM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on periods of slippery and snow covered road
conditions along with reduced visibility. The conditions will
impact both the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...An initial period of snow is expected late
tonight into early Wednesday, with peak snow rates of up to 1 inch
per hour. After a break in the snow most of the day Wednesday, a
period of snow and falling temperatures is expected Wednesday
evening. Lake effect snow develops overnight Wednesday night and
persists through Thursday night.
Slow down and use caution while traveling.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all travel
