Route 61 Road Closure Lifted – Normal Traffic Flow Restored by 6pm
Schuylkill Haven Borough Police are advising the public that the temporary road closure on S.R. 61 (Center Avenue) will be lifted at 6pm this evening. The accident scene involving a tractor-trailer and downed power lines will been fully cleared by emergency personnel and utility crews.
Normal traffic flow will be restored in both the northbound and southbound lanes of S.R. 61. All detours and traffic control measures implemented during the closure will be removed at 6pm.
The Schuylkill Haven Borough Police Department thanks motorists for their patience and cooperation during the incident and reminds all drivers to continue exercising caution while traveling in the area
