Winter Storm Warning issued November 28 at 12:20PM CST until November 30 at 6:00AM CST by NWS Lincoln IL
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and
8 inches across much of the area...with higher amounts of 9 to 12
inches along and north of a Macomb to Bloomington line.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Illinois.
* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 6 AM CST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. The strong winds and weight of
snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic
power outages. Travel could be very difficult to impossible.
Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use
extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.

storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,
booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help
you survive in case you become stranded.
