🚧 Crafton Borough: Locust Street – Water Main Replacement 🚧
Attention Residents,
Crafton Borough has been notified that Casper Colosimo inc.( Pennsylvania American Water) will commence work on the upcoming Locust Street water main replacement project on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Project Overview
The essential infrastructure upgrade is scheduled to begin on December 2, 2025, and is expected to continue for approximately 2 weeks, depending on weather and other operational factors. This project is vital for improving water service reliability and quality for all affected residents and businesses.
Anticipated Impact
During construction, residents and commuters may experience:
Temporary traffic disruptions: Localized Lane closures or detours will be implemented to ensure the safety of both work crews and the public.
Increased noise levels: Standard construction noise will be present during work hours.
Intermittent water service interruptions: Planned service shut offs will be necessary at times to connect new infrastructure to existing lines. Advance notice will be provided to affected residents prior to any scheduled interruptions.
