Description
The Township of Sewickley, Westmoreland County, is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Code Enforcement Officer. The Code Enforcement Officer performs a variety of routine and complex work in the interpretation and enforcement of adopted codes, ordinances, and related rules and regulations relating to building codes, health and safety, blight, and other matters of public concern; as well as serves as a resource and provides information on Township regulations to property owners, residents, and businesses.
Position ensures the compliance of municipal and zoning ordinances, public nuisance abatements, building codes, property maintenance, abandoned and inoperable vehicles, and other related duties.
Position is under the general guidance and direction of the Township Manager and Supervisors.
24 hours per week *Hours may be adjusted to accommodate work schedule*
Compensation will be $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.
