Cold Weather Advisory issued November 10 at 12:10AM EST until November 11 at 9:00AM EST by NWS Melbourne FL
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 25 expected.
* WHERE...Coastal Volusia, Inland Indian River, Inland Martin,
Inland Northern Brevard, Inland Saint Lucie, Inland Southern
Brevard, Inland Volusia, Mainland Northern Brevard, Mainland
Southern Brevard, Northern Brevard Barrier Islands, Northern Lake,
Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Southern Brevard Barrier
Islands, and Southern Lake.
* WHEN...From 2 AM to 9 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Wind chill values of 30 degrees or less can lead to
hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
