💧Village Water System Update – November 5, 2025
The Village Department of Public Works is currently investigating reports regarding today’s water condition. At this time, no delivery issues have been found. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and share updates as they become available.
We would also like to share that progress continues on the Village’s Water Infrastructure Improvement Act (WIIA)–supported project. A new supplementary water source site has been identified, and initial test results are positive. The next round of testing is now underway, which—if the test results meet expectations—will enable the incorporation of this new source into our current water system improvement plan.
The project design phase is underway, with final plans expected to be completed in the coming weeks. This initiative will include the replacement of aging water lines throughout the Village, improving both reliability and quality for years to come.
Construction of the project is anticipated to start in 2026. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we work to strengthen and modernize our community’s water infrastructure.
