For those in need, an important community resource is available: the Interfaith Food Pantry, located at the Wesley Center, 2041 Station Rd, in the Borough of Wesleyville.
**Pantry Distribution Schedule**
-- 1st Tuesday of each month – Next: Tuesday, November 4, 5:00–5:30 PM
-- 3rd Tuesday of each month – 10:00–11:30 AM or 5:00–6:00 PM
If you are a new recipient facing an emergency, please call the Wesley Methodist Church at 814-899-3302 and leave a message requesting an emergency box. The pantry will arrange to get you food as soon as possible.
**How You Can Help**
With ongoing delays and pauses in federal food assistance programs, many local families will feel the impact. The Interfaith Food Pantry already serves a heavy load of hungry households, and community support is needed now more than ever.
*Donate Food*
The Township and Borough Offices have partnered to organize a food drive to support our neighbors.
Please gather nonperishable food items and drop them off at either of the following convenient locations:
- Township Office – 4230 Iroquois Ave (Open for donations daily, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM)
- Borough Hall – 3421 Buffalo Rd (Open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM) -- The front door remains open 24/7; donations can be left in the front hallway out of the elements.
*Donate Your Time and Energy*
If you are able to help physically, volunteers are needed for:
-- Truck unloading and setup: Monday before the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:00 AM
-- Distribution support: During the scheduled pantry times, especially as demand increases
To volunteer, please contact the Wesley Methodist Church to coordinate your availability
