Description
The City of Taft has opened the Citizens Collection Station today to assist residents with vegetation and brush debris cleanup following last night’s storm.

📍 Location: Citizens Collection Station
🕙 Hours Today: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Residents may drop off vegetation and brush debris only at this time. Due to normal collection activity earlier this week, dumpsters are currently full, and bulk or household debris cannot be accepted until additional containers arrive.

The City is coordinating delivery of additional roll-off dumpsters later this week to allow residents to dispose of bulk debris such as damaged materials, furniture, and other storm-related waste. Updates will be posted as soon as those containers are available.

Public Works crews are actively assessing roads and assisting with the removal of brush and debris. If residents are unable to haul off their own brush, they may contact the Public Works on-call line for assistance. City crews will help as available and within reason.

📱 If assistance is needed, please text:
361-534-2012 with your name, address, and a brief description of the amount or size of debris, or any special circumstances that may apply.

Additionally, if any volunteers are available to assist with cleanup efforts, please text 361-222-4291 with your name and availability so that we can help coordinate community resources.

Thank you to everyone for your patience, cooperation, and willingness to lend a hand. Together, we’ll get Taft cleaned up and back to normal.
