Outer Marina Expansion Workshop
The City will hold a public workshop regarding the use of the Florida Boating Improvement Program (FBIP)
funds to expand and improve the outer marina boat ramp.
Date: Thursday, November 6, 2025
Time: 5:00 p.m.
Location: City Hall, 809 6th Street, Cedar Key, Florida, 32625.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide information on the FBIP and gather public input in
implementation and planning initiatives for the outer boat ramp expansion.
All interested residents and members of the public, especially commercial and recreational boating
users, are encouraged to provide their input during this, the initial planning stage of the boat ramp’s
expansion.
Items to be discussed include, but are not limited to:
Boat ramp expansion location
Boat trailering traffic pattern, flow, and parking
Dock Street through traffic patterns and parking, as well as pedestrian traffic patterns
