Description
***PLEASE BE ADVISED***

As a reminder, tonight is the Red Lion Halloween Parade. With that, we would like to remind people that there are numerous road closures and No Parking zones around town to ensure the safety of our parade participants, parade watchers, and the detouring traffic that will need to get around town while the parade is happening.

Attached to this post is the highlighted parade route. The parade route streets will be posted for No Parking. Horace Mann Ave will close at 5:00 PM for parade staging. The rest of the parade route streets will soft close at 6:00 PM and hard close at 6:30 PM. The parade will kick off at 7:00 PM.

Also attached is the parade detour route for the traffic that needs to get around while the center of town is closed for the parade. These streets are posted NO PARKING on both sides from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and include Wise Ave to Maple Lane, Maple Lane to East Broadway, East Broadway to North Main, North Main to West High, West High to North Charles, North Charles to First Ave, First Ave to West Broadway, West Broadway to Linden Ave, and Linden Ave to Country Club.

Please note that all roads effected by the parade will also be posted NO PARKING on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, for our public works team to clean the sidewalks and streets following the parade. These streets are posted NO PARKING on Wednesday from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

We appreciate the public's understanding on this matter as we strive to ensure a safe, efficient, and enjoyable community event. Please be kind and respectful of all the volunteers helping with the parade as they are the backbone of these community events!
