Special Weather Statement issued October 25 at 1:44AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX

At 144 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Schulenburg to near Kosciusko to near
Divot. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pleasanton, Pearsall, Cuero, Gonzales, Floresville, Yoakum,
Jourdanton, Dilley, Poteet, Kenedy, Karnes City, Schulenburg,
Hallettsville, Poth, Yorktown, Shiner, Charlotte, Moulton, Christine,
and Kosciusko.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
south central Texas.
