Freeze Watch issued October 22 at 2:08PM CDT until October 24 at 9:00AM CDT by NWS Lincoln IL
* WHAT...For the Frost Advisory, temperatures as low as 33 to 35
will result in frost formation overnight. For the Freeze Watch,
sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 possible by sunrise Friday
morning.
* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, southeast, and west
central Illinois.
* WHEN...For the Frost Advisory, from midnight tonight to 9 AM CDT
Thursday. For the Freeze Watch, from late Thursday night through
Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could harm or kill sensitive
vegetation.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. Take inside
or cover with cloth.
