Description
Due to popular demand, the Borough has reopened the order form for tippable toters.

As a reminder, beginning January 2026, the Borough will require tippable toters for garbage pickup. If you intend to use a garbage can, it must be a tippable model with a metal lift bar compatible with the garbage truck’s automated lift system.

Available Option:
• 95-gallon toter – $75*
Charges will appear on your 1st Quarter 2026 Erie Water Works bill, and payment will be due by your 2nd Quarter 2026 bill.

How to Order:
1. Complete the online form at Wesleyville.gov/garbage
2. Stop by the Borough Office to fill out a paper form
3. Call the Borough Office to order over the phone

*Notes:
• For this round of ordering, only the 95-gallon option is available.
• A limited number (about six) of 35-gallon toters are available for residents with disabilities or other extenuating circumstances. These will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
• The cost has increased from $70 to $75 because the Borough is purchasing a smaller quantity and had to send a second round of postcards.

ORDER ASAP — DO NOT WAIT. DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 15, 2025.
This will be the final opportunity to order through the Borough. We will not be able to offer another round.

Next Steps:
Once all orders are collected, the Borough will place a bulk order with the manufacturer. Deliveries will be made directly to your address, with the goal of completing all deliveries by January 1, 2026.

How is the Borough spreading the word?
Everyone who hasn’t already ordered should receive a postcard in the mail. The Public Works Crew will also be tagging cans that aren’t tippable. In addition, the Borough will share Savvy Citizen notifications, Facebook posts, and at least one video reminder encouraging residents to place their orders.

HELP THE BOROUGH SPREAD THE WORD—remind your friends and neighbors to get their orders in before the deadline!
