Hello,
This is just a reminder that the Borough does offer curbside leaf collection, please place your leaves and yard waste in biodegradable bags and they will be collected on each of your collection days.
These bags are taken to an approved DEP recycling site and turned into mulch. The mulch is then brought back to the Borough and offered free of charge to residents. You can find the mulch in the rear of Memorial Park (behind Pool) off of West Monument Avenue.
Please do not blow leaves into the street as this is illegal and a violation of Borough ordinance. Not only is it illegal to do this, but the leaves clog storm also drains, causing flooding as well as blow onto neighbors' properties and into waterways.
Let's work together to prevent this from happening and recycle our yard waste and leaves for the environment.
