Description
Please be advised that, according to Valley Waste, only acceptable recyclable materials may be placed in your recycling bins for acceptance at the Recycling Center. In an effort to prevent contamination of clean recyclables, please follow the guidelines listed in the attachment and on the Township Website www.middlepaxtontwp.org
• Bins containing non-recyclable or contaminated materials will not be recycled. Instead, these bins will be collected with regular trash. It is not the responsibility of Valley Waste to sort through bins to remove any non-recyclable items.
Contamination includes (but is not limited to):
• Plastic bags
• Food-soiled containers; recyclable containers that are not rinsed out.
• Styrofoam
• Tanglers (e.g., hoses, wires, clothing)
• Hazardous waste
WHEN IN DOUBT – THROW IT OUT
Your cooperation is essential in helping us preserve the environment and ensure that our recycling efforts are not wasted.
Thank you for your attention and compliance.
