New Rental Property Registration Required
Crafton Borough has updated Chapter 90 of the Borough Code, establishing new requirements for rental property registration and inspection.
What You Need to Know:
✅ All rental property owners must register (FREE)
✅ Registration deadline: January 31, 2026
✅ Inspections will occur every 3 years on a rotating schedule
✅ Inspection fee: $55 per rental unit
✅ Borough will notify you when your inspection is due
Why This Matters: This ordinance promotes safe, habitable housing for our community, protects tenant rights, and ensures all rental units meet minimum health and safety standards.
