Description
The Borough of Churchill Tree Committee is holding a workshop on Tree Maintenance to address the importance of maintaining our trees with emphasis on storm resilience. Winter months offer the right time to maintain our trees, particularly our mature oaks.

We invite all residents to attend a working session to learn more about how we can better maintain and enhance our tree canopy on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m., in the Yagle Room at the Churchill Borough Building, 2300 William Penn Highway, Pgh., PA 15235

Rebecca Kiernan of CONNECT will share tree developments across Allegheny County, Tree Committee Chair Ken Balkey will share latest challenges in our borough, and Jason Rihn, arborist with Bartlett Tree Experts, will share appropriate tree maintenance needs and approaches. A panel session will follow that will give residents an opportunity to ask questions and share feedback.
