Removal of Drought Restrictions – Continued Water Conservation Encouraged
Dear Residents,
We are pleased to inform you that, due to improved water supply conditions, all formal drought restrictions are now lifted effective immediately. This positive development is a result of the increased available water supplies, and the ongoing efforts of our community to use water wisely.
What This Means:
• Outdoor watering restrictions are no longer in effect.
• Previous limits on irrigation, car washing, or pool refilling have been removed.
• Fines or penalties related to drought-specific water use have been discontinued.
However, Responsible Water Use Is Still Important!
Even though restrictions are lifted, water is a precious and limited resource. We strongly encourage all residents and businesses to continue practicing smart water habits:
• Fix leaks promptly
• Use water-efficient appliances and fixtures
• Water landscapes during cooler parts of the day
• Avoid wasteful runoff when irrigating
• Consider drought-tolerant plants and landscaping
Every drop counts: your efforts help protect our water supply for future generations and reduce the risk of future shortages.
