The Borough is now accepting nominations for the Marty B. O'Malley Citizenship Award.

This annual award symbolizes the grateful recognition for the enduring commitment by an outstanding resident of the Borough of Forest Hills. The Marty B O'Malley award honors those who have given back to the community through exceptional public service.

Eligibility
1. The nominee must be a Forest Hills Borough resident or group consisting of Forest Hills residents.
2. Nominees for Citizen of the Year must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the nomination.

Criteria
1. The nomination must detail the achievements and background of the nominee and state the reason/s for the nomination.
2. The nominee’s contribution must focus on their achievements within Forest Hills Borough. (However, their work or contribution outside the area will also be given consideration).
3. The nominee’s achievements may include but are not limited to; meaningful contribution to the borough, improved quality of life, or fulfilling a need or providing a program that would be unmet without their involvement.
4. Outstanding contribution and community service include areas such as; education, health, fund-raising, charitable and voluntary services, business, sport, arts, the environment, social inclusion or any other area that contributes to the advancement and wellbeing of a community.
5. The nominee should be held in high regard in the community or their field of work and by their peers.
