On behalf of the Dover Township Board of Supervisors, our staff members, and the entire Dover community, we extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the three law enforcement officers who tragically lost their lives in the line of duty during yesterday’s incident in North Codorus Township. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten. We also extend our thoughts to the two other law enforcement officers who remain hospitalized and wish them strength, healing, and a full recovery.
Dover Township stands in solidarity with our police agency, the Northern York County Regional Police Department, as well as the York County Sheriff’s Office and the entire law enforcement community. We are forever grateful for the unwavering service and commitment of all public safety personnel who protect and serve our community every day.
We pray for all of you and offer our unwavering support during this extraordinarily difficult time.
