Description
The Moody Police Department is aware of two scams that are going on in the area. One is there is a representative stating that he is with ONCOR and that he is collecting fees do not provide this individual with any personal information or give him any money. If he comes to your house contact the Moody Police Department immediately through the sheriffs department dispatch at 254-757-5222 and we will respond to speak to this individual. The second scam is residence are getting calls that there is a warrant for their arrest through the sheriffs department And that some individuals are getting calls that they have a warrant for missing jury duty. These are bogus calls. Do not give them any information whatsoever and contact the agency that they say they are representing and ask if there is a warrant for your arrest also contact the police department so we are aware
