Description
The GFNY bicycle marathon will take place this Sunday (9/21/2025). The 80-mile race will start at 7:30 am in Monroeville on the CCAC campus. The marathon will travel through Plum Borough into Westmoreland County and back again. The race is scheduled to end at approximately 3:00 pm.
Residents and motorists should be alert for heavy bicycle traffic and prepare for brief traffic stoppages in the areas of: CCAC Monroeville, Old Frankstown Road, Lindsey Lane, New Texas Road, Saltsburg Road, Renton Road, Old Mine Road, Sardis Road, Greensburg Road and Old Leechburg Road.
