Liberty would like to inform residents that Pennsylvania American Water is initiating a Lead Service Line Replacement Program. To support this effort, they have partnered with CDM Smith to identify and replace water service lines made of lead or galvanized material.
As part of this program, representatives from CDM Smith may be conducting door-to-door canvassing and interior inspections in the Mon Valley area (Liberty Borough), particularly for homes that have not yet scheduled an inspection. All authorized canvassers will carry official Pennsylvania American Water identification badges.
We kindly ask the residents to treat canvassers with courtesy and respect, while also remaining vigilant and ensuring that anyone on or near your property is properly identified.
