Description
Capital Region Water’s contractors will be performing necessary work in Middle Paxton Township to maintain a drinking water transmission line near the intersection of Route 225 and Elizabeth Avenue. Work will take place along a CRW easement right-of-way.
The right-of-way ensures access to CRW’s Primary Transmission Main pipe, which conveys water from the DeHart Reservoir to the CRW drinking water system, which serves the City of Harrisburg and parts of its neighboring communities.
Active maintenance work will occur late September, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Weather and other variables could require changes to the schedule, including working hours. Work is expected to be ongoing over multiple days.
Please see the attached Notice from Capital Region Water for additional information.
