NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ASPINWALL BOROUGH ZONING HEARING BOARD
The Aspinwall Borough Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on September 25, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Aspinwall Borough Municipal Building, 217 Commercial Avenue, Aspinwall, PA 15215, to consider a request of Amena Properties, LLC for property located at 400 Center Avenue, Aspinwall, PA 15215, Block and Lot No. 169-S-310, for a use variance under Section 27-305 and 27-705(C)(2) of the Aspinwall Borough Zoning Ordinance to construct five townhouses, and for variances from the following Zoning Ordinance sections, relating to a subdivision of the property: (1) 27-305(4)(A)(1), to permit 3 new lots to be less than 2,500 square feet in area, each; (2) 27-305.4(B) and 27-405(1)(C), to allow encroachments into the required front yards of certain new lots; (3) 27-305(4)(B)(2), to allow encroachments into the required side yards of certain new lots; (4) 27-305(4)(B)(3), to allow encroachments into the required rear yards of certain new lots; and (5) 27-305(4)(C), to allow 2 new lots to exceed the required 50% maximum lot coverage.
The Borough will promptly make a copy of the applications and supporting documentation available for inspection at the Municipal Building, upon request. Written comments concerning the variance may be received at the Municipal Building prior to the hearing and during normal business hours. All persons having an interest in these matters are encouraged to attend this meeting. Persons with a disability who wish to attend this hearing and require an auxiliary aid, service or other disability accommodation to participate in the proceedings can be accommodated by contacting the Borough Manager’s Office.
