Flood Watch issued September 1 at 12:39AM CDT until September 1 at 12:00PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
* WHAT...Flooding caused by pockets of excessive rainfall continues
to be possible, especially over parts of the southern Edwards
Plateau and Rio Grande.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Bandera, Bexar, Blanco, Burnet, Comal, Edwards,
Gillespie, Hays, Kendall, Kerr, Kinney, Llano, Medina, Real,
Travis, Uvalde, Val Verde and Williamson.
* WHEN...Until noon CDT today.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be
flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- The Flood Watch continues for some parts of South Central
Texas through noon Monday as scattered showers and
thunderstorms are forecast especially for parts of the
southern Edwards Plateau and Rio Grande. A quick one to two
inches of rainfall is possible across the Flood Watch area
through noon Monday.
