The county will spray for adult mosquitoes from a truck, beginning around sunset, in the following areas:

Manchester Township: Mundis Race Rd, Woodland View Dr, Friesian Rd, Rishel Dr, Springhouse Ln, E Locust Ln, Cedar Village, Pauline Ln, Haybrook Dr, Eastland Ave, Rockwood Ave, Hayshire Dr, Longview Rd, Meadowbrook Blvd, Clearbrook Blvd, Sycamore Ln, Knoll Ln, Mayfield St, Woodward Dr, Penwood Dr, White Oak Dr, Forest Hill Rd, Skyview Dr, Masonic Dr, North Point Dr, Blackgum Ct, Blackthorne Ct.

Should the weather or other unexpected events occur to prevent or delay the start of the spray, the operation will be rescheduled for August 25th.

The product that will be used is Clarke® AquaDUET®, which is a water-based product designed to effectively control and eliminate large populations of adult mosquitoes. The county performs these sprays at night to avoid contact with non-target insects such as bees and butterflies.

The product is designed to come into contact with flying mosquitoes and therefore has no residual effect as it breaks down within 20 minutes after application.
