Special Weather Statement issued August 18 at 7:35AM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX
Patchy dense fog has developed across portions of DeWitt, Lavaca
and Karnes counties. Local visibilities may be as low as 1/4 of a
mile in some locations. If driving, slow down, use your local beam
headlights, leave plenty of distance between you and other
vehicles, and be alert to rapidly changing visibilities. Fog
should lift by around 9 AM.
