Special Marine Warning issued August 13 at 2:32AM EDT until August 13 at 4:00AM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
For the following areas...
Nearshore and Open waters from Geneva-on-the-lake OH to Ripley NY...
At 232 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 11 nm north of Erie to 9 nm northeast of Conneaut to 6
nm southeast of Ashtabula, moving east at 25 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.
Locations impacted include...
Erie, Conneaut, Ashtabula, and Geneva-On-The-Lake.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
