Heat Advisory issued July 27 at 12:53PM EDT until July 28 at 7:00PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL
* WHAT...Today, heat index values up to 110. Monday, heat index
values up to 110 to 112 expected.
* WHERE...Volusia, Brevard, Lake, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, and
Seminole Counties.
* WHEN...Today, until 7 PM EDT this evening. Then, from noon to 7 PM
EDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
