Description
Flash Flood Warning issued July 26 at 8:28PM EDT until July 26 at 11:00PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH
At 828 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain
across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
Canal Winchester, Groveport, Pickerington, Obetz, Lockbourne,
Lithopolis, Carroll, Reynoldsburg, Baltimore, Millersport,
Pleasantville, Thurston, Carroll, Rushville, Brice and Dumontville.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
