Flood Watch issued July 26 at 1:45PM CDT until July 27 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Lincoln IL
Periods of moderate to heavy rainfall are anticipated this
afternoon through the late night period. Rainfall rates may exceed
1-2"/hr, and a few locations may receive up to 2-4" of additional
rainfall.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and west central
Illinois, including the following counties, in central Illinois,
Christian, De Witt, Logan, Macon, Mason, McLean, Menard, Piatt,
Sangamon, Tazewell and Woodford. In east central Illinois,
Champaign and Vermilion. In west central Illinois, Cass and Morgan.
* WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
