Heat Advisory issued July 26 at 12:37PM EDT until July 26 at 7:00PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL
* WHAT...Today, heat index values up to 108. Sunday, heat index
values up to 110 expected.
* WHERE...Volusia, Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole
Counties.
* WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, until 7 PM EDT this evening.
For the second Heat Advisory, from noon to 7 PM EDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
