Be advised there is not an active shooter in Harrison Township. We understand the situation on East 8th Ave in Tarentum Borough is contained at this time. According to Tarentum's Savvy Citizen update, "An individual is confined to a residence and there is no immediate danger to the public at large."
Please avoid the area as police remain on scene. Further updates will be provided as needed.
