Extreme Heat Watch issued July 21 at 2:45AM CDT until July 24 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Lincoln IL

* WHAT...Dangerously hot and humid conditions will increase the risk
for heat related illness.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Illinois.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Maximum daily heat indices of 103 to 111
Tuesday, then 107 to 115 Wednesday and Thursday.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
