Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 16 at 6:52PM EDT until July 16 at 7:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 652 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Lower Burrell,
or 7 miles west of Vandergrift, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some
power outages.

Locations impacted include...
Vandergrift, Apollo, Plum, Murrysville, New Kensington, Lower
Burrell, Harrison Township, Arnold, Tarentum, Natrona Heights,
Springdale, Brackenridge, Leechburg, Freeport, Cheswick, Russellton,
North Apollo, West Leechburg, Avonmore, and Orchard Hills.

building.
