ROAD CLOSURES IN LOWER WINDSOR TWP.

Description
Due to the flooding that occurred last evening, there are currently 2 state and 2 local roads that are closed.
State roads - Abels Road between Forge Hill and Circle Drive.
Manor Road between E. Prospect and Furnace Roads
Township roads - Meisenhelter Road from Willow Creek to Pine Hill
Prayer Mission Road from Furnace Road to Mill St.
The Township roads listed above will be closed for the foreseeable future.
The Township has been in contact with York County, our Emergency Management Coordinator and HRG for bridge repairs.
Commissioner Julie Wheeler called and offered whatever assistance we may need to help get the roads usable again.
Our road crew has been out since early this morning moving debris from the roadways so that they are passable again.
Chief Thomas, our zoning officer Monica Love and I did an on-site evaluation of the roadways that were affected. We will attach photos of the damage.
Thank you all for your patience as we get the debris cleaned up and damage to our roadways fixed.
