The National Weather Service in Ruskin has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Coastal waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 NM...
Coastal waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20
NM...
Waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 to 60 NM...
Waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 1000 PM EDT.

* At 824 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from 9 nm west of
Manasota Key to 18 nm southwest of Indian Rocks Beach to 35 nm
southwest of Cedar Key to 7 nm southwest of Suwannee River, moving
southwest at 30 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats, damage
vessels, and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all
on board are in a secure location and wearing life
jackets. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots,
suddenly higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy
downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life
jackets.

Ozello, D5 Reef, Clearwater Beach, D2 Reef, Madeira Beach Reef,
Yankeetown, M4 Reef, Md1 Reef, M7 Reef, Treasure Island Reef, M8
Reef, M17 Reef, Indian Shore Reef, Saint Pete Beach Reef, D6 Reef,
M5 Reef, M1 Reef, Md4 Reef, D3 Reef, and Crystal River.

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
