Flood Warning issued July 14 at 8:17PM EDT until July 15 at 12:00AM EDT by NWS State College PA

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
counties, Dauphin, Lancaster and Lebanon.

* WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 815 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in
Mount Joy Township due to thunderstorms. Flooding is
ongoing.Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Elizabethtown, Columbia, Lititz, Mount Joy, Manheim, East
Petersburg, Cornwall, Salunga-Landisville, Maytown,
Rothsville, Mountville, Marietta, Rheems, Bainbridge,
Quentin, Timber Hills, Mount Gretna Heights, Lawn, Penryn and
Mount Gretna.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
