Description
Flash Flood Warning issued July 14 at 3:04PM EDT until July 14 at 5:30PM EDT by NWS State College PA

At 304 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain in Mount Joy Township. Between 3 and 5 inches
of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Elizabethtown, Columbia, Lititz, Mount Joy, Manheim, East
Petersburg, Cornwall, Salunga-Landisville, Maytown, Rothsville,
Mountville, Marietta, Rheems, Bainbridge, Quentin, Timber Hills,
Mount Gretna Heights, Lawn, Penryn and Mount Gretna.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
