🚨 911 Service Update – Luzerne County 🚨
As of 18:00, sporadic issues are still being reported across parts of the state, but the Luzerne County 911 Center remains fully operational and we continue receiving calls on our 911 lines.
If you experience any issues reaching 911, please continue to call our Non-Emergency Line at 570-819-4916.
📞 Important Note for VoIP Users:
Some VoIP phone carriers may route your call to Northern 911 (located in Canada) if they cannot connect locally. If this happens, please clearly provide your location and situation. They will work to get the call to us as quickly as possible.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as they become available. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
Again, we ask that you do not attempt to test if your phone can call 911 unless you have an actual emergency.

🚨 911 Service Update – Luzerne County 🚨
As of 16:00 hours, the 911 system is reported to be stable but not fully rectified. Calls are beginning to come through as expected, but this may change at any time.
The state, county, and associated vendors continue to actively monitor the system. It is anticipated that the Commonwealth will issue another emergency alert once the issue is fully resolved.
If you are unable to reach 911 during an emergency, please continue to use our Non-Emergency Line at 570-819-4916. Please do not contact 911 or the Non-emergency line for any updates about this event.
